Paradise Aircraft has partnered with Travers & Associates, an aviation insurance brokerage established in 1950. Travers is offering favorable terms for Paradise Aircraft based in the USA.

“Paradise aircraft are one of the most insurable Light Sport Aircraft in the world. The outstanding safety record, parts availability, and docile nature of Paradise aircraft also make them one of the least expensive Light Sport Aircraft in the industry to insure,” said Chris Travers, sales manager for Travers & Associates.

Insurance underwriters are impressed with the extremely slow stall speed and stable nature of the aircraft. The pilot and passenger are well protected by the welded steel tube structure of the fuselage. The sturdy landing gear will help prevent insurance claims in the event of a hard landing.

Paradise Aircraft has been designing and building aircraft for decades. They are far from a start up Light Sport Aircraft manufacturer. The long time safety record of the airframe, and the standard 100 HP Rotax which is reliable, proven, and virtually indestructible make the aircraft one of the least expensive and most insurable Light Sport Aircraft in production.

“It’s important that your aviation insurance program be aligned with your specific flying category and needs. We quote insurance rates based on the value of the plane, the pilot’s experience, and the risk factors. Because Paradise Aircraft are typically safe and reasonably priced, insurance rates for Paradise Aircraft tend to be very affordable. We can work with sport pilots to put together a comprehensive program based on their experience and how often they fly,” said Chris Travers.

Sport aircraft represent a huge area of growth for the aviation industry, allowing many more individuals to take part in the thrill and enjoyment of flying. Obviously, maintaining safety in the skies and safety of pilots is at the forefront of this burgeoning segment. Travers and Associates is an expert in sport aircraft insurance. Their extensive network in the industry allows their aviation insurance specialists to develop plans that meet a sport aircraft pilot’s needs without being prohibitively expensive.

We specialize in ¼-Turn Panel and Cowling fasteners, specifically in 303 stainless and our unique lightweight, high strength Skytanium® materials.

Distribution includes a vast selection of AN-MS-NAS aerospace fasteners and panel fasteners common to all general aviation airframes from single engine to corporate jet aircraft.

In 1993, Skybolt developed high tech manufacturing processes to produce innovative ¼-turn fasteners. Developments in the racing markets presented opportunities to design higher quality, higher strength lightweight fasteners. Skybolt achieved three (3) US Patents on adjustable designs that allow one fastener length to adjust to any panel thickness. We quickly introduced these designs into the FAA approval process for use on certified aircraft.

Located at the Leesburg Regional Airport, Leesburg, Florida, Skybolt is housed in a beautiful 20,000 square foot facility that includes office and distribution, fastener production, composite production, and aircraft hangar maintenance and modification.

The sport is back in flying…

Since the FAA’s dramatic regulation changes in 2004 created the new Light Sport Aircraft category, ICON Aircraft’s sole purpose has been to bring the freedom, fun, and adventure of flying to all who have dreamed of flight. With these ground-breaking FAA rules solidified, ICON believes that consumer-focused sport aircraft can do for recreational flying what personal watercraft did for boating.

ICON’s sport aircraft are not only designed to deliver an amazing and safe flying experience, but also to inspire us the way great sports cars do. After years of development with some of the world’s best aerospace engineers and industrial designers, ICON Aircraft has released the first of its line of sport planes, the ICON A5. The A5 is a bold yet elegant design that communicates beauty, performance, safety, and most importantly… fun.

ICON was founded in 2005 by Kirk Hawkins. Hawkins, a graduate from the Stanford Business School, is an accomplished engineer, former U.S. Air Force F-16 pilot, and long-time motorsport enthusiast. With its world-class team of engineers, designers, advisors, and investors, ICON is located in Southern California – home of the world’s largest concentration of both aerospace and automobile design resources. ICON’s engineering and development team came from Burt Rutan’s famed Scaled Composites, which created such record setting projects as Voyager, Global Flyer, the X-Prize winning SpaceShipOne, and Virgin Galactic’s SpaceShipTwo.
